Where is this cottage located ? Accommodation Description
Nestling in 2000 acres of lovely grounds amidst Shropshire's beautiful rolling countryside, these handsome barn conversions share use of a superb indoor heated swimming pool, a tennis court and a small gymnasium. Built in 1840 from the mellow local stone, and grouped around a fine courtyard, they retain a wealth of original features in their carefully furnished interiors. From the door, visitors can enjoy pleasant walking through the grounds and into the owners' farming estate.
All the myriad delights of this historic border country lie within easy reach – Ludlow (5 miles) is home to gourmet restaurants, a renowned annual festival, magnificent castle ruins and a splendid parish church as well as interesting shops and charming old inns. Shrewsbury (25 miles), the Iron Bridge Gorge Museum, the Acton Scot Working farm Museum and Walcot Hall's splendid arboretum are all easily accessible. Fishing is available 5 miles away, and Stokesay Castle, the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, golf and Ludlow's racecourse are about 2 miles distant. Shops at Craven Arms 2 miles. Pub/bistro easy walking ½ mile. 		 Spacious and very comfortable sitting/dining room with electric fire. Modern fitted kitchen with breakfast area. Pretty double bedroom with 5' bed.Pretty twin bedded room. Bathroom/W.C. (shower attachment).
